Modern laser and IPL technology for your skin
At elcorix we use modern technology for the professional removal of unwanted hair — the ALIX TWIN AI Smart 5000 8W diode laser and IPL.
The ALIX TWIN diode laser
ALIX TWIN works with four wavelengths — 755, 808, 940 and 1064 nm. This lets the parameters be adapted to different skin types and to the colour and structure of the hair.
Before the treatment, the specialist takes into account:
- your skin type and tone
- the colour, thickness and density of your hair
- the zone being treated
- how sensitive your skin is
- how your skin reacts during the treatment
An intelligent analysis system helps assess the characteristics of your skin and hair, and the specialist uses that data to choose the right treatment parameters.
The powerful Alix Freezing cooling system reduces heating of the skin and makes the treatment considerably more comfortable. Depending on the zone and the chosen settings, the handpiece can be cooled to as low as −26 °C.
Interchangeable tips make it possible to treat small zones, such as the face and underarms, as well as large areas of the body.
IPL — light technology for specific concerns
IPL is not a laser but intense pulsed light across a broad spectrum. It can be used for certain cosmetic treatments related to unwanted hair and the condition of the skin.
IPL is not suitable for every client or every zone. Before the treatment, the specialist assesses:
- your skin type and tone
- your hair colour
- whether your skin is tanned
- how sensitive your skin is
- possible contraindications
After the consultation we choose the most suitable technology — diode laser or IPL. In some cases the laser works more precisely; in others IPL may be the right option.
What you should know
Neither laser nor IPL guarantees that all hair will be gone after a single treatment. Hairs are in different growth phases, so a course of treatments is usually needed.
The number of sessions depends on:
- the treatment zone
- your hair type and density
- the characteristics of your skin
- how your body responds
Before your first treatment we explain:
- which technology suits you
- how many treatments you are likely to need
- how to prepare your skin
- what to avoid before and after the treatment
- what results you can realistically expect
Treatments are carried out for cosmetic purposes. Before using IPL, the specialist checks whether the technology is suitable for you individually and whether there are any contraindications.
Who treats you
I'm Elena, and at elcorix I do one thing: laser hair removal.
Before the first pulse we sit down and talk. I look at your skin and hair and ask about medication, sun and anything that could rule a treatment out. If the laser isn't right for you, I'll tell you straight.
Then I set the device for you: skin type, hair thickness, zone. A test pulse shows how your skin reacts before we treat the whole area.
After every session you get clear aftercare instructions. Questions between appointments are always welcome.

Does laser hair removal hurt?
The handpiece is cooled to as low as −26 °C, which makes the treatment much more comfortable. Before the first treatment, a test pulse on a small spot shows how your skin reacts — so you know what it feels like before we start.
How many sessions will I need?
That depends on your skin type, hair thickness and the zone. We give you a realistic number in the free consultation, together with the total cost. For a course of treatment there are packages of 6 or 8 sessions.
How long is the gap between two sessions?
We set the interval individually — by zone, hair growth, skin reaction, season and the result of the previous session.
Will the laser work on my skin and hair type?
The device works with four wavelengths (755, 808, 940 and 1064 nm), and an AI scanner measures skin type, hair colour and hair density. That lets us treat a range of skin and hair types. Whether it will work for you is something we check in the consultation — and if it will not, we tell you plainly.
What should I do before my appointment?
You will get preparation instructions from us before the appointment. Please tell us in advance if you take medication, have had a lot of sun, are pregnant or have any skin changes — we check these before every treatment.
